General Rules

  1. St. Teresa’s Convent School is proud of its eco-friendly serene and peaceful environment.
  2. Deeply committed to upholding the value systems of St. Teresa’s Convent School, it expects its students and staff to conduct themselves in a worthy manner in their dress, demeanor and discipline.
  3. The students must respect their teachers and management; greet them when they meet them in or out of the School campus.
  4. They must rise when the teacher enters the Class room and remain standing till they are directed to sit or till the teacher takes his/her seat.
  5. When the attendance roll is called, each one must rise and answer to the name or register number.
  6. Students should be seated in their respective classrooms at the stroke of the bell.
  7. They are expected to make use of the library during free periods. Movement of the students in the corridors of the School building during lecture hours is not permitted.
  8. Sitting on the steps of the staircase or on the rails of the portico of the School is not permitted.
  9. Students must be in proper School uniform and possess their ID/
  10. Cards whenever they come to the School and show it to the person concerned when asked for.
  11. Congregating on the road in front of the School at the entrance of the School is to be avoided.
  12. Students must maintain decorum and discipline at all times, both inside and outside the Scholl campus.
  13. Those who are guilty of serous misconduct or whose presence is detrimental to the order and discipline on the campus are liable to be expelled.
  14. Code of conduct on the campus includes safeguarding the School property, keeping the place clean and tidy and following the prescribed dress code.
  15. Body piercing, tattooing and fancy coloring of hair is not permitted.
  16. Use of mobile phone is strictly prohibited of students and Staff, if found using them, they will be confiscated and may not be returned.
  17. Students and parents are not permitted to make complaints in a body or present any collective petition but are welcome to present their case if any either individually or through their proper representatives.
